Neither Trump nor Biden will be running in 2024. Desantis has stolen the attention away from Trump. Trump is no longer leading the GOP. His arch rival (enemy) Ron Desantis has dethroned the Donald.
The ONLY reason why Biden came out of retirement to run for president is because he was the candidate with the highest odds of winning. Biden will not run again.
At this point it looks like the 2024 election may be Desantis vs Newsom. We will see. The extremist from Florida Vs the progressive from CA. But there is a lot of time left. We will see who becomes the front runners when the nominations are made.
Regardless, I really could not care who is president. If Biden and Trump have each thought us one thing, it is that the power of then presidency is very limited. Trump accomplished almost nothing even with a republican congress. Biden is accomplishing less than he had hoped even with a democratic congress. The reigning president has much less power than we believe.
