Are there any R&B Soul Funk Bass Players out there?

Working band is seeking a true R&B Soul Funk Bass player. Sacramento seems to lacking this type of bass players out there. Ok no pun intended but there's seems to be a lot of bass players that think they can play this type of music and I don't mean simple funk stuff like Brickhouse, EW&F and Kool and the gang stuff. We need a bass player that can keep the groove, have feel and thump & pluck when it's needed and not over doing it. Anyway, need a easy going fast learner as we have good paying gigs on the books. We need someone with good past Funk Soul live band experience and who personally love this type of music. Not looking someone who wants this as an experiment nor Rockers bass players (sorry nothing against rock music but this never turns out good and just be wasting both of our time) If interested, please give a bio and any video or audio recordings would be great.
