**PLEASE APPLY ONSITE @ 14327 Reeveston Rd, Houston, TX 77039, WE INTERVIEW AND HIRE ON THE SPOT!** Job Purpose The Shipping and Receiving Associate position for Luthe (Corporate Shipping) Is responsible that all materials and jobs that are rushed are sent to its correct destination.   Primary Duties & Responsibilities Forklift operation Cleaning and organizing of work area Loading and unloading of trailers (If required) Use of the computer to check for job locations Check Job ship dates Communicate with other locations (emails) Receive and transfer materials and jobs in the system Keeping count on load straps per location Fixing load straps Communication of damages of trailers and or materials Ability to make decisions and exercise good judgment Taking pictures of materials from other locations for proof of damages Any other job task as needed in Shipping department Qualifications & Required Skills                                                                                                                   Forklift certification Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Ethical Conduct Communication Proficiency. Takes Initiative Working Conditions Open shop work atmosphere (seasonably hot and cold). Physical Requirements This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and climbing throughout the day.  The employee must be able to lift up to 55 pounds.
