This position is based out of Las Vegas, NV. Candidates will support the specialized vehicle testing programs for the customer. The Mechanic Technician will focus on daily tasks such scheduled maintenance, diagnostics, part(s) retrofitting, along with standard shop maintenance. Candidates meeting the requirements below for this Full Time Mechanic Technician position are strongly encouraged to apply. Shift Schedule: • AM Day Shift: 7:00 am - 4:00 pm (Monday thru Friday) Pay Schedule: • $21.00 - $26.00/hr., depending on experience Retirees and veterans are welcome Requirements: • Must be 18 years of age or older • Must have high school diploma or equivalent • Must have a valid US driver's license with a good driving record • Minimum 2 years' driving experience • Able to operate a manual transmission vehicle • Minimum 3 years' automotive mechanic experience • Strong electrical diagnostic experience • Must have own tools with rolling toolbox • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos, as well as the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals • Have good organizational skills and able to meet strict deadlines • Must be a self-starter and self-motivated • Can work in a team atmosphere and learn new tasks • Have excellent communication, time management skills and exhibit attention to detail • Must have reliable attendance and able to work overtime/weekends as needed Preferred Skills: • Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school • ASE Certifications Benefits: • Overtime When Available • No Certification Required • Veteran Friendly Employer • We offer Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance after your 60 days with Performance Driven Workforce • Work with Latest Automotive Technology Performance Driven Workforce is an Equal Opportunity Employer Easy Application Process!
