Our team is in need of two (2) EXPERIENCED Apartment Maintenance Technicians in Clio, MI. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following: *Handle all work orders assigned by Property Manager. Follow through on completion of these work orders; communicate with Property Manager regarding problem work orders and/or bad condition of apartments, making the necessary arrangements to resolve the problems. A response time within 24 hours is required. *AC and furnace maintenance experience is requested. *Turnover/remodeling of all apartments within a 3-7 day period *Handle resident complaints/problems, making appropriate referrals to the Property Manager. Inform the Property Manager of continuing problems. *Make routine daily inspections/repairs of the common building areas and grounds and inform Property Manager of any major areas of concern. *Ensure that all residents are provided with a clean, safe and well-maintained environment. *Perform all maintenance duties, following correct, safe work practices. *Organization and proper use of maintenance supplies and tools. *Inventory control and organization *Respond to maintenance call after hours on an “on-call” basis as directed and scheduled by the Property Manager. *Perform all other duties as directed by the Property Manager and assist in the overall team effort to maximize the value of the property with systemized operations and maintaining a first-class property with excellent curb appeal. *Physically able to perform all duties of this position. This is a full-time position with a rotating on-call system. Pay rate will be determined based on experience. Paid time off earned after 90 days of employment.
