Description

Forming nontrad Irish/celtic band with heavy emphasis on harmony vocals, with goal to gig once or twice a month on average, rehearse weekly. Looking to start with solid rhythm guitar player who has experience with celtic or bluegrass music, and a melody instrument -- fiddle, mandolin, or banjo preferred, in that order. Vocals a huge plus as I love harmony. Must be committed to working on material on your own and coming prepared to rehearsal once a week. I sing and play bodhran (Irish frame drum) and can accompany on piano, guitar, or baritone uke. Have formed, managed, and played in 2 successful long-running celtic bands and know how to get gigs. Prefer to practice in general area of Avondale/Decatur/Tucker. If interested, please respond with experience, age, location, and some video or audio samples, and I will respond with same.
