WE WILL TRAIN YOU! This job is the starting point for learning the skills of surveying. A Rodman is responsible for the transportation and set up of the instruments and equipment associated with surveying land/water and preparing the job site for a survey. This is a field position that requires you to be able to lift 50 pounds as you will be carrying equipment to and from the surveying site. The Survey Rodman will be responsible for supporting the survey crew during the measurement of land and grade. Transportation will be provided from the office to the surveying site and back. You will work in all types of Florida weather conditions. You may sometimes be required to travel to locations throughout Florida with paid travel expenses and an allowance for meals. This is a 40 hour a week position which pays $15.00 per hour plus time and a half for overtime. We offer medical, dental, paid time off and paid holidays.
