Frank Lamparelli, a third-generation energy company, is looking for full and/or part time drivers to join the night shift (4pm to 12am). Drivers will work on a nightly basis with a helper on dual hose and meter trucks to deliver both diesel and propane to local commercial fleets. Drivers with a Class A or B CDL and Hazmat/Tanker endorsements are preferred but not required. We can cover licensing and training fees for CDL drivers without these endorsements. Applicants without a CDL who are willing to attend driving school may qualify for tuition reimbursement. Qualified applicants may also train and be paid as a helper to learn how to safely deliver fuel before obtaining a CDL. Responsibilities: • Safely drive and operate diesel and propane delivery trucks. • Complete training involving safe loading and delivery of diesel and propane products. • Ensure cleanliness of both company vehicles and customer fleet vehicles • Coordinate with other night crew drivers to complete assigned routes. • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of company vehicle • Maintain paperwork such as bills of lading and delivery tickets to ensure accurate documentation and billing for customers. • Leverage handheld wireless technology during the delivery process to assign deliveries to each customer vehicle • Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding delivery operations and vehicle maintenance needs • Abide by both Department of Transportation regulations and Lamparelli Oil safety procedures.
