Description

Enjoy a summer trip to Spectacle Island. Hop aboard the Provincetown II and enjoy the ride on Boston Harbor! On the island, enjoy the water, sun, and sand; there will be kite flying, backyard games, and ranger tours. This is a free four-hour trip with your entire foster family brought to you by Boston Harbor Now! Please note the following details: Pack sunscreen, a hat, and anything else you need to be in the sun. Please pack plenty of water, refillable bottles, snacks, and a trash bag for the trip. Wonderfund will provide a box lunch. Water and other refreshments are available for purchase on the ship. Limited picnic areas are available to sit and enjoy lunch. Otherwise, there are plenty of grassy areas to relax. As always, there are no trash receptacles on the island. Please be prepared to carry out all trash generated on-island to take care of at home. This event is for MA DCF Foster Families only and is a private event. You are welcome to bring foster children and biological children.
