Teens ages 12 to 17 are invited to attend the 3-day LYFE Line Teen Summit for ages 12 to 17. This is the 4th Annual Teen Summit by the Louisiana Center for Health Equity (LCHE) and BREC. The 2022 LYFE Line Teen Summit will be held Wednesday, August 3 through Friday, August 5 from 9 AM to 5 PM at BREC Milton J. Womack Recreational Center located at 6201 Florida Boulevard in Baton Rouge. Doors will open daily at 8:00 A.M. for “early bird” drop off with the summit beginning at 9:00 A.M. Parents are responsible for drop off and pick up. Pick up is from 5:00 P.M. to 5:30 P.M. daily. Interactive and informative sessions will aim to encourage teens to voice their concerns and explore ways to influence the communities they live in by covering topics, such as youth dating violence, mental health wellness, college and vocational readiness, financial literacy, and sexual risk avoidance. Teens will also have an opportunity to explore a number of topics of interest to them and more. Teens will experience outdoor games and other fun activities that will have them returning for more!
