Join us this week with a walk on the wild side with scientist and educator Camila Rodriguez as we learn about herpetology: the study of reptiles and amphibians. From gators to tiny frogs, you’ll get a peek into this fascinating world and learn what may be in your back yard.
We’re hosting weekend Family Discovery Camps this July. Explore the natural world with scientists and Museum staff in this outdoor experience for the whole family. Discover how scientists work in the field and learn how to use the tools of science yourself.
Wear appropriate footwear and clothes that can get dirty or wet! We will be heading outdoors to explore the University of Florida Natural Area Teaching Laboratory and will meet at the pavilion at the corner of Natural Area Drive.
Camps are designed for children in grades K-6 and their family.
$15 for non-members and $12 for members, per participant.
Pre-registration is required and closes on July 28.
