Join you Golf-Sisters on a outing to watch amazing women golfers. Once we know who is going to Chambers Bay for this event we can figure out carpooling. Here is more information about the event CHAMPIONSHIP FIELD A starting field of 156 players will compete in the U.S. Women's Amateur. Following 18-hole rounds of stroke play on August 8th and 9th, the field will be cut to the top 64 players for match play. Five 18-hole rounds of match play will determine the finalists who will square off in a 36-hole championship match on August 14. CHAMPIONSHIP SCHEDULE Monday, August 8 & Tuesday, August 9: Stroke play qualifying Wednesday, August 10: Round of 64, match play Thursday, August 11: Round of 32, match play Friday, August 12: Round of 16/Quarterfinal matches Saturday, August 13: Semifinal matches Sunday, August 14: Final match (36 holes) SPECTATOR QUICK FACTS There is no charge to attend this event, August 8th – 14th Parking will be available on the event lawn (directions/map to follow) No spectator parking is available in the upper parking lots The Central Meadow, Soundview Trail, and the dog park will be closed from August 6th – 14th The North Meadow and Grandview Trail will remain open
