Learn the basics of what makes a great story and begin to develop your story idea. We’ll hear an example story from one of Tulsa’s best storytellers, learn storytelling tips, and participate in fun exercises that help prompt story ideas StoryCurious, Storytelling Workshops for All, is a series of workshops presented by Ok, So…Tulsa and the McKeon Center for Creativity. In anticipation of The Moth’s Pop-Up Porch and Story Slam in Tulsa this September, the Center for Creativity and OK, So…Tulsa have partnered to help Tulsans develop their personal stories and hone their storytelling skills. Whether you’re an experienced storyteller or a complete novice, this workshop series will help you develop story ideas, workshop existing stories, and introduce you to Tulsa’s storytelling community.
