Workshop your story in a safe and supportive environment. Winners of the Ok, So Tulsa’s annual “Best Storyteller Competition” will help you develop your story by providing feedback and storytelling tips. Please come ready to tell your true, personal story that’s no longer than 5 minutes. Rough drafts are encouraged – there’s no such thing as a perfect story! StoryCurious, Storytelling Workshops for All, is a series of workshops presented by Ok, So…Tulsa and the McKeon Center for Creativity. In anticipation of The Moth’s Pop-Up Porch and Story Slam in Tulsa this September, the Center for Creativity and OK, So…Tulsa have partnered to help Tulsans develop their personal stories and hone their storytelling skills. Whether you’re an experienced storyteller or a complete novice, this workshop series will help you develop story ideas, workshop existing stories, and introduce you to Tulsa’s storytelling community.
