The word Reiki is derived from two Japanese words – Rei and Ki and is loosely translated to mean ‘life force energy guided by Source’. There are two aspects to this certification: the education, the attunement Education: After a decade of teaching + working with thousands of students and client, Teru Reiki has emerged. Teru translating to mean – brilliance. This certification will educate students about Reiki, not only as intended by Dr Usui, the founder of Reiki - but also, Cortney educates students on vibration + energy – describing in detail why + how Reiki works. Attunement: According to the dictionary, attunement means to “bring into harmony” and a spiritual attunement is a process that connects a person more closely to their spiritual source and allows for life current to flow. At the end of the certification, the attunement is given to students. Teru Reiki: Unique to this certification is the teachings and implications of our personal frequency – both physically + emotionally – on the world we experience and perceive. This program encourages both students and clients to have a deliberate and consistent personal practice for lasting healing and teaches students how to increase their vibrational set point. Foundational to this style of Reiki: energy, vibration, empowerment, intuition, self-study and continual spiritual awakenings. Above all else, this certification program is a catalyst to those seeking spiritual growth. Prerequisites for the course: None; this certification is open to all. A minimum of 4 students is required for this class, if the minimum is not met, the class will be rescheduled for another date and time. Class fees are non-refundable. Fee can be transferred to a different date if communicated at least 2 weeks in advance and if minimum class size is met. Otherwise, no refunds, transfers or credits are allowed.
