The Hudson River Maritime Museum’s collections include historic vessels, objects, archival material, and art related to Hudson River transportation, recreation, and industries such as ice harvesting, brick making, boat building, coal transport, and quarrying.
We’ll take a one-hour guided tour of the
museum, followed by time to browse the exhibitions, including “A New Age of Sail,” which examines the history of sailing cargo vessels on the Hudson from the 17th century to the mid-20th century, on your own.
Then we’ll board the Rip Van Winkle II for a two-and-a-half-hour sightseeing cruise on the Hudson River and a delicious box lunch.
