Abortion care is healthcare. We have a fundamental right to make choices about our own bodies and our futures. Half of the country just lost that right due to the overturning of Roe and numerous trigger bans going into effect. People of Color and low income people will be hit the hardest by these bans. We are seeing that financial support is one of the biggest necessities right now. That financial support goes to individuals seeking abortion care who now must travel, take time off work and seek the care they need. Financial support is also a necessity for organizations doing the hard and continuous work to make sure that abortion care is a basic right for all who might need them.
