Hi, My name is Aria. I recently took in a stray dog that kept coming by. I’m not stranger to dogs. However, I can’t keep this stray as much as I’d like to. I’m going away to college next month and am unable to keep him. He’s a male pit bull mix. Though he is a very sweet boy, he is very territorial. Not only this, but he isn’t very fond of other dogs either. I’m not one hundred percent sure, but he did well with my standard poodle before she died so he might be open to meeting smaller dogs only. He needs a big backyard and someone that will give him a lot of love. He’d be a great guard dog. I’m not sure that he’d be good with kids as he’s very hyper. He isn’t fixed but I wouldn’t mind paying for it. He doesn’t have his shots, but I wouldn’t mind paying half. He has abandonment issues. I need someone to be very patient with him. I’ve had him a few months. He needs someone who will take the time to get to know him. He isn’t fond of males. However, I think with time, he’d be open to this. He’s very good with my brother, but I assume he’s been abused in the past due to his lack of fondness with male dogs. I really want him to go to a good home. He is potty trained. I’d like to check on him every few months to see how he’s doing if that’s okay. If you’re wanting to bring in a new family member to your home, Buddha would be very grateful.
