Rehoming my beautiful 4 month old melanoid axolotl, named Glau (pronounced Glow). If you have no experience with axolotls, please do research beforehand! They make great pets and are relatively simple to care for but do require specifics. About Glau: - Glau is a GFP jet black melanoid, GFP meaning they carry the Green Fluorescent Protein causing their eyes & body to glow under UV light, hence the name. Axolotls are nocturnal and have poor vision, so “Glau” is also short for glaucoma (an optometry reference). - Food dish trained (bloodworms) but requires nightcrawlers/earthworms now and into adulthood for a proper diet - Funny personality, very friendly, will do zoomies and swim up to greet me when I’m in front of the tank, loves bubbles & being talked to 😊 $60 rehoming fee applies for axolotl only or $220 for the axolotl + entire tank set up. Includes everything you need to get started (20 gal tank + glass lid, sponge filter, LED light, frozen bloodworms, white sand, tank decor, feeding accessories, water conditioner, etc.) Will respond to email/text only.
