October is an anti-bullying month. Are you tired of the culture bullying your daughter? Are you tired of the family being disrespected in media and lacking respect for relationships? Communication can get lost in translation, and now, with social media, it has quickly become a lost art. Do you want to communicate effectively? Do you want your daughter to feel heard and seen when she speaks? Do you want both you and your daughter to spend a day focused on communicating with each other and God? The world is communicating all around us; however, God's word gives us the keys to communicating through love, trust, truth, and respect. GODfident is an annual conference for Mother/Daughter, Grandmother/Grandaughter, Mentor/Mentee, Spiritual Mothers, tweens, teens, and college-age students. What to expect? Powerful worship, drama, speakers, panel discussions (teens/parents), testimonies, and closing the day with celebration performances. Topics include, but are not limited to, "communication with God, family and friends, safe communication, types of communication, conflict resolution and communicating through love languages and more"!!! Also enjoy a catered lunch by a Hilton chef, a photo station, and giveaways throughout the day! (note please email if gluten free, vegan or vegitarian, no outside food allowed in venue.)
