Description

Every year, the United States observes National Preparedness Month in September to remind Americans to be ready for any disaster — man-made or natural — that could affect them, their homes, communities or businesses. Doug Bryson, director of Spartanburg County Office of Emergency Services, will share tips to help assure personal preparedness, provide information to receive severe weather alerts and notifications and demonstrate where to access local resources from the web. A member from Pelham's emergency department will also be on-hand to help answer questions about how the hospital is prepared to help care for people at all times, under all conditions. Space is limited and registration is required for lunch. Due to the close proximity to cancer patients with compromised immunity, wearing a mask will be required. Thank you for your understanding.
