I have a vacant lot that needs a path tidied up into acceptable condition. Basically there's a fairly steep slope up this hill and a relatively flat usable area at the top where I have had two decks built. At the moment you can make it up the existing path but it's a pain in the ass due to a lot of brush that that needs to be cleared out and loose dirt that needs to be leveled out and stomped down.
There's also debris a neighbor dumped.
Get some free bricks that are always on here for starters maybe. I'll rent power tools from Home Depot if I need to.
I plan to make retaining walls and/or terrace it and plant some ground holding vegetation. If you know something about these things great. At the moment I need to make it more approachable for the average person so just a lot of hacking and chopping and leveling.
I'd like to meet up with someone and show them pics of the slope and get started for a couple of hours. I would totally do this myself because it looks like a blast. However, I have two broken ankles at the moment. I have a wicked machete and hatchet to use and I'll pay to pick up a shovel. If you have your own tools too great.
Hack it up for a while to get to the top and success!
So the first run is going to be a lot of slashing and chopping and leveling sliding dirt through some switchbacks. You can see the trail. As is... you can get up the hill to the top. However, you wouldn't want to take your mom up it at all.
Text or email me if interested.
