Screen printing/screen making facility located in Richmond (east bay) is looking for a dependable and motivated individual to become our shop apprentice/general press helper Training will be provided to the right candidate as long as that person has a good disposition & work ethic and is willing/able to take on different tasks to grow within the company. Qualifications Needed: Experience in silkscreening (i.e t-shirt printing) a plus Must be able to lift at least 45 lbs & reach/bend down Must be ok working with solvents, inks, pressure washers and an overall noisy manufacturing environment. Must be able to stand and walk for most of the work day Good command of the English language both written and spoken. Must be able to perform basic math equations & conversions Must be able to read, understand, and execute both written and verbal instructions properly Must have reliable transportation to and from work as public transportation does not run close to our location The applicant must be responsible, honest, respectful, prompt, and always a team player Duties included but not limited to: Machine set ups and take downs (will train) Read and follow instructions in work orders Help with other projects in the plant as necessary (will train) Screen washing, reclaiming, and stretching (will train as needed) Supply inventory & work area clean up General warehouse help: packing, loading, unloading, moving merchandise around, cleaning. Must always be ready to jump in and help with all plant projects as requested/needed We are located very close to the freeway exit. Be advised that this is a full time on site position.
