Job description Open Position for Class C Route Driver Job Summary: We are a small pantry, coffee service and vending machine company that has been in business for over 25 years and we are looking for a pantry/vending Route Driver who will restock our many client kitchens throughout the Bay Area. We pride ourselves on our amazing culture and have a comfortable, fulfilling working atmosphere. The vehicle is provided by us and the job entails loading your truck up with product (that has already been set aside for you), driving to customer accounts and filling the kitchens and/or machines with product. Pay is competitive and typical work week is 40 - 45 hours Monday - Friday only (no weekends). Start time is 6:00 A.M. We are looking for someone to start right away. Route Driving Experience is NOT required. We will train you how to be a world-class professional as long as you have a current Class C California Driver License and a clean driving record. Requirements: Must have a valid CA Class C Driver's License and clean driving record for the Route Driver position Serv-Safe Certification is a major plus, as this shows your skilled at operating with consumable goods in a kitchen-style setting. We must require full Covid-19 vaccination (the first 2 shots), because nearly all of our service accounts require vaccination compliance upon entry. We value a strong work-ethic, attitude and integrity along with experience. Please be well-organized and consistently punctual. All eligible candidates must have the general ability to speak and understand English. Please maintain a professional appearance, we strive to impress our corporate customers. Company Polos will be provided after the initial completion of training. Please wear a short sleeved, collared polo with nice clean pants without stains or holes. Please exercise friendly, helpful, energetic customer service skills. You will be interacting with executive level clientele regularly. FOH Restaurant experience is desirable. Smiling is highly encouraged! Be able to safely lift up to 50 pounds on occasion. This weight is not common, but you will need to be able to frequently lift totes filled with various beverages, coffee bags, etc. into and out of the box truck and onto the hand-cart.
