Intervention 1 This training will cover the New Intervention Guide which is specifically designed to provide rigorous, highly effective, small group instruction to students struggling with foundational literacy skills in Grades K-2.
Letterland Intervention1Teacher Guides are required to attend the Training. Overview
Letterland Intervention 1 focuses on the foundational literacy skills critical to K-1: print concepts, phonological awareness, phonics for reading and spelling, and fluency. A thoughtful, research-based design integrates vocabulary development and regular text-based practice to motivate students and support comprehension. A variety of assessment tools ensure that teachers deliver differentiated, data-driven instruction for maximum progress.

Onsite Training
This training is face-to-face, please make sure you arrive at the location at least 15 mins before the session is due to start.
Certificate & Hours
Start time: 8:30am - 11:30am [EDT]Lunch break: 11:30am - 12:30pm. Afternoon session: 12:30pm - 3:30 pm. All attendees will receive a Letterland Certificate of Completion for 6 hours, after the course is completed. Please note that School districts have different requirements for hours, you should check with your district to ensure this will count towards your professional development hours.
