Our first concert of the series was sold out within 4 days! Hurry to get your tickets for the second concert! This concert is a fundraiser to help two young uprising cellists – 17 years old Justin Wu and 18 years old Ethan Zhang. Both cellists were accepted for participation in the XI International Tchaikovsky Competition for Young Musicians. Please help this young talented musicians raise money for their competitions and festivals activities! On Saturday, July 30th at 7pm the young musicians will presented their programs for the third round of the competition accompanied by the internationally acclaimed pianist Cho-Hyun Park. Jewels of the 20th century cello with orchestra repertoire: Prokofiev (1891-1953): Symphony-Concerto in E minor, Op. 125 (Sinfonia Concertante) Shostakovich (1906-1975): Concerto No.1 in E-flat major, Op. 107 Meet and get to know our young musicians and their parents at the reception right after the performance with exquisite Temecula wineries wine, all kinds soft drinks, yummy cookies, salami & cheese, as well as organic fruits and veggies to follow.
