The house needs a cost of living raise

Representatives in the house of congress are planning to add themselves a cost of living raise to one of the spending bills that must be passed in order to keep the country running. They want to do this before November and to hide it from the voters. Apparently they believe the optics of them needing a raise to compensate for the damage they have done to the economy, inflation and the trillions they passed out among themselves and their sponsors would not be looked on favorably by the voters. Any member of congress who allows this to happen should be voted out of office, no matter which party they belong to.
