This can lead to: low test scoresdropping out of schoolfamily conflictfear of failurelow self-esteeminability to understand when they read the BibleTutoring Children and Youth Basic Workshops are led by trainers who have been certified through the National Literacy Missions Partnership (NLMP) using North American Missions Board/Send Relief materials. Tutoring Children & Youth (TCY) is part of the Literacy Missions component of CA WMU's Compassion Ministries resources. Other opportunities include English as a Second Language (ESL), Adult Reading & Writing (ARW) and Citizenship Preparation.
