Reconnect with yourself—mind, body, and spirit! This slower paced style of yoga is a good compliment to our fast-paced lifestyles. Passive asanas (postures) are held for long periods of time, sometimes up to 3-5 minutes, allowing the deep connective tissue to stretch, the fascia to release, and an increase circulation in the joints. Learn to listen to your body and breath, how subtle movements can change the asana completely, and how to find peace in that which brings you discomfort.
Class is heated around 85 degrees. Bring a bottle of water, a towel if needed, and a yoga mat. Yoga mats can be rented for $5.
When you come to the studio, remove your shoes at the door, and place your belongings in the cubbies. You will be checked in at the door. Masks are not required, however if you feel more comfortable wearing one during class, feel free.
