Rehoming for my Cat

Let me start by saying I love my cat. I have had him since I was 16 years old. It breaks my heart that I have to give him up but I can no longer properly care for him. He is older, he just hit 12 years a month ago. He does require special food (Urinary SO) because his bladder forms crystals without it (pretty common issue in male cats). Other than that, he is a perfect cat. He's snuggly as can be, he talks to you, he follows you around, he's extremely loving. I have adopted a dog about a year ago and she is my dream pet and they do not get along at all. Since I've adopted her with my husband, he wants to get rid of the cat and I can't tell him no. My cat has been very stressed since we've gotten our dog and it saddens me to see him hide now instead of walk around freely and I'm doing my best to just find him a nice home where he can sun bath or relax all day for the remainder of his years. Please let me know if you're willing to give him that. I would be forever grateful.
