Afro-textured hair is beautiful, but living in a world that does not always see it as such is hard. Join us for a 2-day event about the history of natural Black hair, the politics surrounding it, personal experiences, and how to care for your crown with local Black haircare entrepreneurs. Youth 10-18 and their families are encouraged to attend!! Attendance at both is not required. Take-home gifts provided!
