Improvisation workshop put on by Lenny LaCroix, one of the top pianists in the country. He has worked with the best...Sinatra, Streisand and on and on. He did the Academy awards for 6 years in a row. So, to give something back, he is putting on the workshop for free.....(donations are accepted but not necessary. The level of students are from beginners to semi-pros. Friday 7/15, 11:00 to 2:00 at the Ranch Radio Station, in the Simi Valley Town Center Mall......,. 1555 Simi Town Center Way, Unit 730. (far East end of the mall). Subsequent workshops will be on the third Saturday of each month. Also The Simi Valley Jazz Club meets on the 2nd Sunday of each month at 1:00. We have 2 hours of open jam sessions and then a feature band from the greater LA area, for an hour or so. Free if you play with the jammers. This is also at the Ranch Radio Station. It is open to the public to attend. ($10 for members or $15 for non-members
