We are looking for the right person to fill an open position in our outdoor industry focused business. We are a small local company located in Boulder in the fly fishing industry who work hard and play hard. We are looking to hire a 32-40 hour per week (we are open to part-time for the right candidate) manufacturing team member to perform a variety of tasks including material handling, unpacking and preparation of inventory parts, simple machining including drilling, pressing and fastening, measuring and quality control, assembly of parts into finished products, packaging, maintenance of shop tools and machinery, and occasionally assisting in the unloading of shipping containers. Please bring a positive attitude, short emotional memory and team mentality. Candidates should have experience with manufacturing or assembly, or very comfortable using hand tools at the very least. New employees will be trained on specific operations and safety procedures, and will undergo a weekly review process during their first 4 weeks. Candidates must be able to lift 50 pounds repetitively and be very comfortable with physical work. The position is not seated and requires standing, bending, kneeling, walking, twisting, turning and moving between areas, so an appropriate level of fitness and mobility is required to perform the job duties. Work hours are 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. or 8:00 a.m-4:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday. Candidates must have reliable transportation and live within a reasonable distance to the Boulder area.
