We are hiring a General Labor/Groundskeeper who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in keeping the community clean. Location: Parkhill/Denver Pay Rate: $16-$17/hr Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm Job Summary: Work as a team to maintain the site and help make it a desirable place to live for all residents. Ensure curb appeal as it relates to trash removal, weeding, snow removal, landscaping and other visual points of interest of the property grounds are maintained and meet company standards. Essential Functions: Empty all trash containers daily Clean/polish light fixtures, surfaces and trim in common areas Clean rugs, carpet, furniture, draperies, blinds, etc. Replenish bathroom supplies in office and common areas Walk the property daily to pick up trash Clean around all dumpsters Clean laundry rooms each day Rake/mulch around all trees Water grounds as needed Deliver community fliers Weed around trees and flowerbeds Snow removal Assist maintenance as needed Adhere to all Fair Housing laws and regulations. Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. At least one month related experience Required Skills/Abilities: Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate. Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. Ability to carry out detailed written or oral instructions Ability to work and lead in a team environment Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Must be able to climb stairs and ladders, and be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time Able to work in confined spaces Able to work for long period outdoors.
