HIRING for this WEEKEND (JUNE 15TH, 16TH, AND 17TH) Pays Weekly!!!!! DLP STAFFING, LLC is currently accepting applications for the position of: Laborer Location: Fort Mccoy, WI FLSA: Non-Exempt Hire Pay: $19.23 per hour Classification: Full time/Temporary JOB SUMMARY: Performs tasks involving physical labor. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: • Load, and unload materials, machinery, or tools. • Clean or prepare the worksite. • Erect or dismantle tents, scaffolding, braces, or other temporary structures. • Position, seal, align or seal structural components using saws, hammers, nails, and bolts. • Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, or adjustment of machinery, equipment, or materials. • Clean equipment, including above-ground storage tanks. • Must be able to walk up and down stairs frequently, as well as regular bending and standing as needed in a daily shift. • Familiarity with hand tools such as power drills, saws, and hammers. • Commitment to wearing protective safety gear for heat, noise, and prevention of injury on the job site. • Ability to work well with supervisors and subcontractors. • Performs other related duties as required. SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED: Receives supervision from the Supervisor. The position has no formal assigned supervisory responsibility or authority. Must complete jobs without constant supervision. WORKING CONDITIONS: The principal duties of this position are performed in an indoor and/or outdoor environment. Works standing and walking for prolonged periods of time. Steps, stoops, crawls, climbs, lifts, bends, kneels, pulls, and pushes while performing job duties such as heavy physical work; heavy lifting, pushing or pulling required of objects up to 55 pounds. Physical work is a primary part of the job. The work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions. Work may involve moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, cleaning chemicals, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises. ALCOHOL AND DRUG TESTING POLICY: This position is subject to the DLP Staffing LLC, Drug-Free Workplace Policy which includes Post-Accident Testing, Random Testing, and/or Reasonable Suspicion Testing. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Effective interpersonal/communication skills. • Ability to understand written and verbal communications. • Must have a clean driving record. • Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures. • Effective grooming skills. • Ability to safely use cleaning equipment and supplies. • Ability to lift, push/pull and manipulate heavy objects up to 55 pounds.
