Penelope is a mountain cur/lab mix about 3-5 years old, we think. But you would never know her age if when you meet her! Penelope loves to play! She enjoys fetch, chase, and wrestling. She is a high energy girl, and is very aware of the emotional atmosphere around her. She tends to sense when someone is feeling down, and she will comfort them with snuggles and hugs. Yes, she HUGS. She loves car rides and play dates with other dogs. The more time she gets to spend with you, the less anxious she gets when she has to be left alone. Penelope is due for her rabies, is current on everything else, including flea and tick meds. She is strong and healthy! She is spayed and microchipped. P is ridiculously sweet and smart. Unfortunately, Penelope's human is unable to be with her, and due to chronic health issues, I don't have what it takes to give her the life that she deserves. She has been good around other dogs, cats, and chickens (with supervision). If she is left alone in a chain link fenced yard, she will likely get bored and/or lonely and go wandering. Privacy fences and plenty of attention/activity will eliminate this concern. She comes with a thunder shirt, some toys, her Piddle Place (a petsafe product), and any pee pads and collars we have.
