Howdy! I'm Daniel, in need of a mobile mechanic to help me with a fuel tank issue. I've got the parts, kit, knowledge, etc, just need someone to help me with dropping the tank and getting the sending unit fixed, then putting the tank back up. If you're a mobile mechanic, and have time today (Wednesday), please email me with your skills/credentials, availability hourly rate for travel, and hourly rate for work. If you have time today (figure about 4 hours for the whole project) then i'll send you the full scope so you can read as much as you want. Yes, i've call all the mobile mechanics listed on CL; most of them didn't answer (probably busy), some of them didn't know if they were available today (or just wouldn't tell me), and a couple of them were incredibly rude and nasty. One of them took the time to call me back just to insult and harass me, so apparently she's not only got nothing better to do, but also doesn't have any decency. I'm only looking to hire a mobile mechanic for mechanic work done on my truck here where I am since I can't get into a shop for at least a month, and I'm only interested in having conversation with mechanics that are available; if you're not available, why waste my time learning about the job??
