The Opportunity.
U.S. Underwater, a CONSOR company, is currently expanding its inland service market and is searching for individuals interested in serving the municipal market performing Potable Water Tank Inspections.
The Potable Tank Inspection Technician is a non-diving role that shares responsibility for piloting and tending the ROV, maintenance and repair of the ROV system, implementation and monitoring of technical procedures and reporting, work management and execution of ROV operational tasks.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities.
Tend ROV cables to ensure proper navigation of the ROV.
Assist in the launch and recovery of the ROV system.
Pilot Remote Operated Vehicle, which is a Briefcase/Micro ROV, and narrate video to capture applicable images of underwater assets.
Ensure ROV and all of its systems are in working order and compliant with requirements for the jobsite.
Consult and discuss scope of work with client before performing inspections.
Provide topside support for applicable projects.
Work efficiently and safely to meet client needs.
Required Credentials.

Must not be afraid of heights
Ability to work and problem solve without direct supervision
Ability to travel out of town throughout the week.
Minimum Requirements:
Must have current driver’s license and clean driving record
Must be able to pass a drug/alcohol screening
High School Diploma (or equivalent)
Must be able to have a valid Passport and Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC Card)
Proficient with computers, tablets and Microsoft Office/Outlook
