Western Care Construction is a privately owned construction and property management company that manages multiple properties including multi family, commercial and vacant land. We're now hiring a Foreman to help us keep growing and supervise our repair and maintenance crew. (Salary dependent on experience) Responsibilities for Foreman • Supervise all crew members • Develop a work schedule for workers • Be the liaison between crew members and supervisors • Report project progress to superiors • Solve disputes between workers • Ensure that a project is adequately staffed • Assign tasks to crew members • Ensure that the project is staying on or under budget Qualifications for Foreman •High School Diploma or GED required • Must have a valid California driver’s license and clean DMV record • One to two years of experience required • Ability to organize a work schedule • Ability to solve disputes between workers • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds • Excellent communication skills • Ability to negotiate • Knowledge of the construction industry and processes • Perform quality checks on construction equipment
