Square 1 Solutions is seeking dedicated individuals with assembly experience to work for a prestigious company in Sparks that focuses on creating the best plumbing and safety products that will be shipped worldwide. Products that are assembled include the following: drinking fountains, eyewash station units, and safety showers. All candidates must feel comfortable working in a team environment by performing the following tasks: Must be able to read and follow engineering drawings, instructions, and blueprints, and comfortable utilizing hand tools and working with small parts. This may include bolts, screws, rivets, speed clips, drills, wrenches, and more. -Great hand-eye coordination -Able to stand and walk for 10 hours a day -Test the finished products using proper safety techniques -Adapt well in task changes / environment changes -Good attendance and punctuality is essential All candidates must be able to remain in a stationary position for most of their shift. Please keep in mind that this is a very hands on job that will require constant hand / finger / grasp movement to perform essential functions and job duties. Candidates must feel comfortable lifting and transporting boxes up to 30 lbs. Please keep in mind that a full-background check is required as well as a uranalysis drug test (excluding THC). Schedule: Monday-Thursday 6 AM - 4:30 PM (with mandatory overtime on Friday) Pay: $18 / hr.
