Looking for a dynamic drummer for acoustic based rock band. Styles cover rock, old timey bordering on bluegrass, Americana with groove based improvisation. The core of the band is upright bass, guitar and drums. Live shows are typically augmented with other musicians including guitar, mandolin and violin. The material is a mixture of originals and covers. Examples of covers include from Tom Waits, Leonard Cohen, Dead, Allmans, Gil Scott-Heron, Curtis, Jimmy Rodgers, Dylan, Taj Mahal, Gillian Welch, Wilco, Townes, Johnny Cash etc This is for the love of music and not the pursuit of profit. Typically play out 1-2x/ mo. We had to cancel our summer shows but still have a couple booked for the fall and are looking for the right member to move forward and re-book some of the canceled dates. We have fun but take it seriously in a laid-back manner. Creative input is welcome. Thanks
