The Maintenance Leadman must possess the following skill set and educational background.
A. Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
B. A clean driver’s license and be insurable on company’s insurance policy
C. Physically able to handle the work load of an Maintenance Basic Laborer
D. Able to effectively communicate basic Maintenance terms in Spanish
E. Able to read, write and speak English effectively
Responsibilities:
A. Thoroughly understands and complies with company policy and safety manual
B. Reports any / all unsafe conditions or accidents
C. Properly and safely operates hand tools and maintenance equipment such as ride-on, walk-behind and push mowers; edgers, trimmers, blowers, thatchers, overseeders, etc.
D. Able to perform basic level preventative maintenance on equipment above such as oil changes, check fluid levels, check tire pressure, change blades, etc.
E. Promotes a safe work environment
F. Reports any / all unsafe conditions to Foreman immediately
G. Implements all instructions from foreman in a timely and efficient manner
H. Meets or exceeds company production standards
I. Able to fill out and process all necessary job paperwork
J. Able to work with minimal supervision while keeping 1 or 2 laborers working
K. Able to prune trees, vines and shrubs
L. Able to properly apply fertilizers
M. Able to properly apply pesticide application techniques
O. Able to interact with client in a professional and competent manner
