Dog Needs Rehomed

Description

1.5 year old mixed breed male adopted from JHS in December. Sylum has been a phenomenal dog and is a really fast learner. He was intended to be a service dog prospect, but unfortunately is a little nervous in new situations and has some leash reactivity (he will need an experienced adopter due to this). He has been around kids and is nervous at first but can warm up to them. Loves other dogs - he would play all day if he could and is daycare-approved at Camp Bow Wow! He is INCREDIBLY smart and picks up on new tricks very quickly. Loves playing a good game of fetch, and loves the agility setup in our community dog park (this would be a great way to channel all his young pup energy!). He isn't the biggest fan of water, but just needs to keep being introduced to it gradually (he does like sandy walks on the beach though). He is an excellent snuggler and would love to have a backyard that he can suntan in (loves sun on his belly). H I would love to keep him but unfortunately need to work on a prospective service dog for personal reasons and it's unfair to have both of them and my senior girl in a small space. Rehoming fee applies but can be negotiated for the right adopter. Ideally, a home with no small children (cats are untested), but with other dogs and a fenced yard would be perfect. I would love to find him a family where we could do play dates periodically with his little brother and stay in touch. All potential adopters will be vetted and would like to set up an introduction initially - if you have other dogs, they must meet and we can evaluate how it goes. Happy to send more pics, this is just all I had available right now!
