Craftsman w Table Saw to Cut down Fiberglass Drum

I have a 18" diameter X 16" deep fiberglass drum that I need 2" cut off to make it 14" deep. It is about 3/16" (5mm) thick. Shouldn't be hard to do but must be a precision cut. Any unevenness messes with how the drum head seats and the sound. Would be great if I could get the edge tapered or rounded but I could do that by hand. Mark
