Responsibilities
• Work hands-on with all Facility Team members and be able Supervise and Lead staff members to ensure Daily production goals are achieved.
• Provide feedback to team members using Efficiency Feedback Reports in order to properly measure performance.
• Supervise the upkeep of mechanical equipment via Preventative Maintenance Schedules in order to ensure Operational production standards.
• Ensures that Safety and Emergency Preparedness procedures are implemented properly and adhered to accordingly in daily work process including all Lock-Out / Tag Out measures and PPE Standards.
• Perform hands-on work in order to complete repairs as needed in the event of equipment breakdowns and faults with the use of both hand and power tools and be able to estimate time and material needed to complete repairs.
• Maintain inventory of all Engineering Tools and follow 6S methodology in areas as needed.
• Maintain the daily exterior and interior cleanliness of the building with a focus on environmental responsibility.
• Respond quickly to calls that involve the review / repair of equipment failures and be able to troubleshoot issues to determine plans for resolution.
• Maintain open lines of communication with the Manager of Facilities and all Executives / Management Members via means of in person conversation, phone, and email.
• Be able to effectively understand and use Facility Maintenance Software. Complete designated work orders as scheduled.
Requirements
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Bilingual in Spanish is strongly preferred, but not required.
● Must have a valid driver’s license and own reliable transportation.
● Experience or knowledge with Conveyor Systems, GOH Monorail Systems, Sortation Equipment, Air Compressors, MHE Vehicles, Auto-Packing Machines and / or Electrical / Diesel Engines and Pumps is preferred.
● Must able to work weekday shifts and weekends, nights, or holidays when requested.
