2022 FLORIDA PAL STATE BOXING CHAMPIONSHIPSNovember 4 - 6, 2022 Hosted by the Putnam County Sheriff's Office Police Athletic League and the State of Florida Police Athletic League. Come join us for this amazing event located in beautiful East Palatka, Florida to watch some of the BEST amateur boxers in the nation, during the BIGGEST Amateur Boxing tournament in the STATE! VENUE: Putnam County Fair Grounds and Expo Center, 118 Fairgrounds Road, East Palatka, FL 32131 * Live DJ and the fabulous Young Professor, Matt Graifer announcing. * Hot Food and Cold refreshments will be available. Come for our amazing smoked brisket! The brisket alone is enough to make the drive! * Spectator tickets available at the venue OR during the boxer registration/coaches meeting at the venue on Friday Night. Tickets are $20. for General Admission. You can purchase a two-day event ticket at a discounted price of $35. Youth under 12 are $10. Youth 2 day tickets are $15. Youth under 5 are free. BOXERS and COACHES * This is a USA Boxing Sanctioned Event. You must be a current member of USA Boxing in order to compete. * Open Class boxers must have a minimum of 5 recorded bouts in their passbook. Uncontested and walkover bouts will not count. * Novice boxers cannot have more than 10 recorded bouts in their passbook. Uncontested and walkover bouts will not count. * ALL PASSBOOKS WILL BE VERIFIED. You may choose to go open with less than 10 bouts, if you have at least 5 recorded bouts in your passbooks. There are no refunds for walk-overs or no shows. * Weigh-Ins - 7am Saturday and Sunday at the Venue. Scales open at 6:30 am each day. DOCTOR AT WEIGH IN. * For spectators, gates are open at 11am. Tickets are ONLY available through EVENTBRITE. We are NOT accepting any walk up registrations at this time. We are capping the event to the first 275 boxers to register. USA BOXING PASSBOOKS, for all boxers and coaches MUST be delivered to the VENUE on FRIDAY NOVEMBER 4th between 4PM and 9PM. There will be no exceptions, so please make your travel plans in advance. ** If an Athlete needs to change their weight class after November 1st, you must send an email to [email protected], WITH the athlete's name, USA Boxing member ID number, and their birth date. You must send the email before registration ends on November 1, 2022 at midnight. **** To register a Boxer or update a passbook, visit: www.usaboxing.com *** MEDICAL RESPONSE UPDATE All boxers, coaches, officials, staff and spectators assume all risks when attending or competing during this event. This is acknowledged by your registration. Hand Sanitizer Stations will be available inside the venue. We encourage you to sanitize your hands frequently throughout the event. All coaches and boxers will need to sign a hold harmless waiver. Youth waivers must be signed by their parent/guardian. On November 1st, a copy of the waiver will be emailed directly to the email address listed on your ticket. Copies will also be available for you to complete during the coaches/registration meeting. What's the refund policy? Refunds are processed up to 30 days before the event. Please use the Eventbrite page to request a refund. What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? Parking is free at the venue, with ample parking available. Handicapped Parking marked and available, but is limited. Are we allowed to bring food into the Venue? No. At this time we do not permit any outside coolers or food. Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event? No. Come one, come all! Family friendly event and environment. What can I bring into the event? Bring your "A" game and personal cheerleaders! This event is partially funded by a grant from the Putnam County Tourist Development Council.
