The Penny Williamsburg is a unique intersection of hotel, graduate student housing for Bard College. The building will consist of 118 Guest room and 108 Dorm rooms and a variety of gathering space for students, guests and the neighborhood. Like its collegiate partner, The Penny’s vibrancy and creativity reflect the rich spectrum of people who inhabit it. Here, people are the color in the room. Individualism, creativity and community investment are guiding principles Essential Functions and Duties: · Install and/or sheet rock and other wall coverings · Respond to maintenance calls from guest, form and restaurant · Paint Designated areas and items · Install and/or repair basic electric fixtures, replace light switches and light bulbs · Repair furniture · Perform Minor plumbing functions · Maintain repair and preventive maintenance records · Maintain Systems as needed · Perform maintenance checks of equipment and log properly · Perform Inventory duties as required · Electrical, Refrigeration, plumbing, heating & cooling, structural and ground care · Other Duties as requested by Director of Engineering Position Requirements: Must have a minimum of 1-2 years of Engineering experience, hotel setting preferred, but not required. FSD strongly preferred but not required.
