My cat had kittens on July 3. They are all opening their eyes now. Mama is a really good mom but she seems very stressed in our home with the other pets. She is set up in our bedroom but locking her in there is not an option. She meows and freaks out and generally just dislikes the trapped feeling. We have other cats in the home. They don’t mess with the kittens but mama freaks out if she can even see them. All this stress seems to be affecting her milk supply and she’s definitely not producing enough. Unfortunately my work schedule is not flexible enough to allow me to supplemental bottle feed all four kittens. If anyone is able to take in mama and babies please let me know.
