Help refugees establish their homes in Central Ohio. Welcoming the stranger – and refugees in particular – is a core value of Jewish Family Services, dating back to our founding in 1908. You're invited to help us continue that commitment by providing welcome kits to newly arriving refugee families and joining us to learn more about how our programs support refugees in building a new life in central Ohio. This volunteer opportunity includes two asks. 1. Prior to the event, help us collect items for household welcome kits by contributing dollars or purchasing items from our registry that will be shipped directly to our office. DONATE HERE 2. Join us September 11 at BrewDog DogTap Bar & Brewery* to help assemble personal toiletry kits and learn more about how you can help support refugees in Central Ohio.
