Join us for a cookout and concert from the Summertime Jazz Band on a summer evening! Included in your ticket price: Barbecued Hamburgers, Veggie burgers, Chicken and/or Kebabs, side dishes and salads, soft drinks or water. Live Jazz Music by the Summertime JazzBand starting at about 6:30. Some seating is available at tables and chairs outdoors, or bring your own lawn chairs or picnic blanket for the large beautiful church lawn. All outdoors if good weather, indoors if rainy. This event is produced by the Acton and Stow Area Interfaith Partnership Supporting Afghan Refugees, a partnership of 6 local churches, and proceeds will go to rent, clothing, food, education, training, transportation, and social needs of families who have recently moved to Massachusetts from Afghanistan. This IS a fundraiser and we will make an appeal for further donations.
